Welcome Humans

For those of you who don't know me my name is Brittnay. Brittany if we're being politically correct, but i will tell you what a dear friend of mine once said; "You can make your name whatever you like, because maybe the name you were given simply wasn't the true you. Maybe that name holds past grudges, pain, or memories that will never truly be who YOU today are." So yes, my name is Brittany Nicole Hogg, but i myself am Brittnay and I'm quite alright with that! And you are...?

I hope that whoever you are, you are aware of one thing; I love you. No, no, no we're not going steady, please for the love of all sugar-free gum don't change your Facebook status to 'In a relationship'. What I mean, my fellow human, is that there is a love inside of me that is pure, boundless, and eager to be given away. And it's certainly not human love, because human love will never be sufficient enough to express my affections for you. This is the love of God. The love He has for us is so great and mighty that we can't possibly keep it to ourselves! We are given a commission to spread that love to the whole of the earth and THAT, my lovely one, is why I'm sitting here professing my everlasting love for you, and starting this blog! (Such a weird word- blog...)

There is a love inside of me that is pure, boundless, and eager to be given to you. Whoever you are, I hope one day you will be able to understand why  I'm led to express such great affection for you without even buying you a box of assorted chocolates. (Side note: please do not buy me assorted chocolates, i like caramel. Go with caramel.) This is going to become a story of Gods love and how it's not only doing wonders inside of me, but in the world around me.

Humans are so very wonderful. They're so passionate and emotional and... ALIVE! And that's how they were made to be. Alive. God did not set rocks to rule over the land and animals. How dull the bible would be if he had. "And the Lord spoke to Noah, and Noah did nothing, because he was a rock." NO. We weren't made to sit about and grow moss! We were created to be people of peace, advancers of the kingdom, and vessels of His love!!! And that is why I love humans so, because in my short lifetime, I've seen more love contained in the handful of people I know than I ever thought possible for the whole world to contain. The thought that these incredible souls are on a mission to spread His endless wealth? That's the thought that keeps my heart beating each day. Because God is for real. And He's not hiding from us, He's living inside of us, roaring like a lion.

My life goal is to save the world. To let God roar through me, and to be unafraid of what my future has in store. It is my hope that some small bit of this love story will cause you to also fall in love with the human race. That you can perhaps benefit from the sharing of my story, and that one day, you'll be so bold as to share your own story. That is my hope for you, my loveliest one. I hope this won't be too dull. Wish me luck, and adieu for now!

Proverbs 28:1
The wicked man flees though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.
